Meet Rosine!  Rosine began as a late 1970's Sasha doll with cut hair.  She is now   a lovely redhaired girl!

I have always loved the early Frido redhaired girls, both with philtrums and without, but with the fringe style bangs.  I used a Monique Gold Taylor wig, which was much too long and all one length, and have cut and styled it and cut a fringe bang into it so that she is very reminiscent of the early Frido dolls with the desirable "fringe" hairstyle.

Her wig is a combination of colors - blonde and light red.  It is a soft, synthetic mohair.







Her features have been repainted and sealed.

Rosine is a "Dress Me" Sasha - she comes only in the little white slip shown.  It makes a lovely summer dress or she can be dressed by you.

I have given Rosine blushed cheeks, not only because Sasha liked this technique on her early studio dolls but also because she has a small bluish mark on her cheek that I wanted to camouflage as much as possible.

Meet Derek!
Derek is all boy -and began as a 1980's doll with falling hair.  He has been remade into a new custom boy doll.

Head to toe - he wears a fantastic Monique Gold wig designed for ball jointed dolls.  It is synthetic mohair and is a blending of colors.  It is in a contemporary long style but he could be dressed from any era!
He's wearing an odd assortment of clothing - a Wee Wardrobe striped shirt and his play jean shorts were handmade by an obviously inexperienced seamstress.  They came on another doll and I wanted him to look like he was wearing casual play clothes, so this is what I had!  (So I will leave his future wardrobe up to you!)
He wears black high tops on his feet.

Meet Seraphine! A new Custom Sasha Doll (SALE PENDING)

Seraphine began as a 1970's Gregor much in need of a makeover!  Because I begin with a doll that is usually very well loved, they often have some imperfections.  This girl has a faint blue line on her stomach and one going up her arm.  Fortunately, they are very light and I will include photos of them also.

Meanwhile, here is her information!  Her arms have been restrung as they were too loose and her features repainted.  The falling out, brittle brunette hair has been replaced by a Monique Gold wig used for ball jointed dolls.  It is a wonderful quality of synthetic mohair.  It has been trimmed and styled to fit her "look".

Her features have been repainted and sealed.    Her 1910's style dress is handmade and underneath are long bloomers.
